How do you get the writing under your own comments saying what grade you are (in blue)?

If by a better tone you mean a fuller rounder tone then more air, more aperture opening and a mouthpiece with a deeper cup usually helps, although you will be sacrificing accuracy in upper range for that (which can be easily solved by playing a bit more up there).

I don't know - I like a mellow spacious tone; some people don't.
