Judging by how you took to my soprano the other day, I can see you doing really well in the sax ensembles at Leeds in a few weeks time

) - lugging the sax around should help! Hadn't realised how heavy it is With your track record, you'll breeze through grade 4, Lottie - mark my words!

I don't really know the notes - I somehow manage to 'wing it' if I know the tune so an ensemble might be a bit optimistic........*hope you haven't caught my cold*

I'm really looking forward to having a proper go on the sax tomorrow - the lady who sold it to me threw in some Rico reeds to get me started.
Thank you everyone for your good wishes. I can't quite decide what I'm more thrilled about - the result or the sax! I'm going to enjoy the next few days - although I do need to make it up to Mr LT sometime - the look on his face when I sheepishly showed him my 'treat'
