I've been doing quite a lot more local publicity this year (at least 20 posters up to now) so don't delay too long if you want to perform at this event.

I've been putting out much more local publicity this year and already half the available performing slots are already taken so if you want to take part don't delay too long.
If choosing something to play is holding you back then don't worry about it, just get in your form and let me know by the closing date.
If slots fill up there will be a waiting list. As with any event like this it's not unusual to get one or 2 dropping out.

Train ticket pricing is set to change from tomorrow so I'm guessing that the cheapest tickets will disappear.

The Virgin Trains website seem to be listing that one advance fare they now have at the cheapest rate they had before the fare changes (looking at Euston-Piccadilly).

Just been having a play with the National rail enquiries site.
It does indeed look as though the advance fares are pitched at the lowest price... rather unexpected.
They are subject to availability though so I think that booking early, especially on journeys to or through London, is still necessary.

I interpreted an email from Sbhoa as agreeing that I could send my form in after Leeds with being so tied up with the Leeds organisation up to yesterday, but it seems I misunderstood. Hope you all have a good time anyway

I don't want to go on a reserve list sbhoa - it might never happen and then I could have missed out on doing something else as well!!

In my experience, there's a very good chance that there will be people with slots booked who can't make it on the day, and therefore at least some of the reserve list will get a slot.

It would be lovely to have a concert where absolutely no-one has to pull out, but sadly that hasn't happened yet.

I'm not going either I'm afraid. Been so busy doing theory that I've barely played my flute lately

I really like the way you're still willing to jam people into the finale/jamming sessions, despite the main bit of the concert being full sbhoa - you rock!

I still can't quite understand how the misunderstanding arose as looking at the message you sent me a few weeks ago, it seems quite clear that you said I could come and send the application form after Leeds was over...

Anyway congratulations sbhoa - considering last year you were thinking you might have to stop holding the concert because so few people were applying, you've done really well to turn it around and fill it up 7 weeks in advance of the event Shall I stop promoting it over my side of the Pennines now and get it taken off the college web site?
