i've just finished grade 7 piano and am about to start grade 8. however, all grade 8 books have been sold out.
anyway, i'm starting on arpeggios first and i don't know how to play some of them, eg. the weirder minors. would anybody be kind enough to make a list of all notes for each scale for grade 8?

yeah i think i'm asking for too much, but thanks anyway :/

Kai, I really think there are far too many for any of us to attempt this, in any case if youre doing Grade 8 you should have the necessary theoretical knowledge to know what notes should be in the scales.
That having been said, if there are one or two in particular that puzzle you, I'm sure one of us can pop the notes down!

I don't remember anything out of the ordinary with the minor arpeggios.... dry.gif

I don't think there are as many scales in grade 8 as people like to think. (call me insane) apart from them asking for all the dominant/diminished 7ths set as in the scales. All the syllabus books are going to go really quickly now because the AB asked music shops to clear the 07/08 syllabus so that the new syllabus will be there ready

ok.
in the keys of C, D, F, F#, B, Db, Ab and Eb.major scales in 3rd,6ths,8ves, minor harmonic in 3rd,6ths,8ves, melodic minor in 8ves.
Arpeggios are all those keys major and minor in root 1st and 2nd inversion.
there are others like thirds, chromatics etc. you need to get the book
