I don't fill one in for mine.... but then I sometinmes almost forget to include myself on the programme.....

That's why I always do one for myself! Then I know X number of forms = X number of people

I really want to come! I will fill in a form. Just need to double check with work (if I get this job) as I am already going away for a few days in September. Should be able to come but maybe as not as long as I want.

As we are getting closer to NI now, and applications are open, I thought I'd let people know now that I'm up for doing a flute and/or a clarinet duet with anyone who'd like to.

Remember : closing date for applications is Friday 25th July!...

...and if you're worried about having to fill all the sections in on the form before sending it off, it doesn't matter, you can leave blanks or put 'TBA'!

All we ask is that your choice of solo piece (especially if you need an accompanist) is emailed/PM'd to either noodle or myself by the closing date, ditto choices of ensemble pieces. So if you want to make sure of your place at the concert, you are quite welcome to send forms in now!

Finale parts will be distributed to those who want them by the start of August. The running order will be published on the website by the second week of August, and if you wish to stay for the post-concert meal, you need to tell noodle by the 16th August.

There are several experienced hands going so I'm sure it will run like clockwork - just relax, enjoy and make the most of it!




Just don't help with the promotion like I did for Stalybridge on- and off-forum - it might backfire on you and be so successful that you do yourself out of a slot!

Even allowing for the above, we are getting closer to the day now, so a lot of the cheaper deals will be going. If you're coming from England/Wales/Scotland by plane, get your plane tickets sooner rather than later...

For those who are arriving for the NI forum event a few days beforehand, you might be interested in applying for complimentary tickets for the BBC Radio3 summer invitiation concert on the Friday evening in St Patrick's cathedral in Armagh.

Ooh! I know one of the composers - Mark Bowden. He used to teach at the college I work at. But it says the Northern Ireland concert is fully booked.

Afraid not. I think, to be honest, we're better off looking at something like the Clandeboye Festival, which I'd have thought would have had more tickets available. Even if we had been successful, with events like this, if you're late, you end up at the back of the queue, and you miss out (as they overbook many TV/radio recordings).

At the moment, there are more people promising to come from England than from Ireland, both north and south of the border...

24 days to get applications in. Noodle's organised a wonderful event, you'll regret not coming...

I'm starting work on our duets now Noodle.

Closing date is Friday 25th July! You have less than two weeks to get your applications in to noodle! Don't leave it too late. You'll regret not coming!
