I was thinking about carrying out work experience with a pit orchestra, but apart from the B'ham Royal Ballet Sinfonia i'm having trouble finding any!
Does anyone know if theres like a site ofpit orchetras professional or not..

is that like a theater orchestra?
Id love to do work experience in one, what would you do?
Be like a runner?
Only thing with me is i would probably have to catch the train to london everyday, and it isnt cheap, im about a hundred miles away.
but i have another year yet

I'm not sure what you would do, just sounds interesting and a bit different. And i want something that may help me get into uni to study music
Hmm yes haven't thought about the travelling costs, i'm also away from London.. But just looking for ideas really!

I would love to go do it in her majestys theatre (phantom of the opera)
I know the music quite well there and i think it would be better to go somewhere i know the music well, i guess i would be more focussed, y'know? If i went somewhere else i dont think i would concentrate on whatever i was meant to be doing.

True yer, haven't thought about places where i know the music!
But sounds good idea.
Maybe i'l have a search through the London theatres or something..
