How long does it take you to get to your lesson/s?
My flute lesson takes 10 mins
But, I have to take a bus to my bassoon lesson and that can take anything from 30mins to a hour!!!!!
Any experience like this?

My teacher comes to my house cos he lives in the moors ( which are hard to get 2)
So he visits every1 he teaches
It s really helpful cos it means i can do other things till he arrives
The problem is that he can turn up late sometimes n if theres any1 around outside ma house they can see

Not easy when ur tryin to keep a straight face when playin the flute

My jourmey takes about 30mins, but then parking is a nightmare and I have to walk across town.
Worth it - my teacher is great!
my piano and cello teacher come to my house, it takes 15minutes to get to my singing lesson, and it took an hour both ways to get to my old harp teacher!

One hour or so to get home, on a bus or by bike. Cycled back last night, pouring with rain; today, violin was tuned in approximate major sixths with the G string timmied down to about bottom E flat. Then the bow wouldn't do up properly. Happily everything was OK again after 20 minutes of playing, but I need to find a way of waterproofing this thing...

My piano teacher comes to my house and I have my viola and singing lessons at school. Does anyone ever find that their subject teachers give them a hard time about missing lessons for music? I had a teacher last year who was NOT happy and the year before that I had a teacher who was a real bully who had a go at me every time I missed part of his lesson even though I tried my hardest to catch up.

my piano teacher only lives 2/3 mins walk from us - just down the road! And flute is at school, so doesn't really count!

Thats really mean of your teacher!
My teachers weren't too happy. Some understood but others got a bit angry. I suppose they didn't want me missing my GCSE subject lessons- which is understandable I guess.
Now I have lessons in my free periods- so not to upset anyone
