It occured to me that there must be some reputable piano magazines out there for the enthusiast/performer, which one can subscribe to. Would anyone happen to have any favourites or recommendations?! Thanks.

I quite like the 'Pianist' Magazine; it has some interesting articles and reviews in addition to a pull-out section in the middle which contains piano music of three differing levels of difficulty. (I find the sheet music pull-out section very useful if I take on a new pupil who has some playing experience, but arrives with no music - you have a selection of pieces from beginner level to advanced which are readily available to hand to the pupil! )

Pianist is a good all-rounder with interviews, information on piano makers and as was stated a theory and music section with a cd to match. I was lucky enough to pick up the whole set on ebay...

It comes out once every two months so wont break the bank and for this reason tends to be less repetative than some others. Check out its web site pianistmagazine.com......

International Piano is quite a good magazine as well.

IP is the best read, and the lesser known 'Piano' magazine i quite often get from Chappells.

Having collected a stack of Pianist, I also think IP is the best.
