Is anyone doing the Edexcel AS on Thursday? And does anyone have any practise questions or know any sites that have practise questions?

I'm getting really worried about it now! I think the listening paper will be fine but the writing paper unsure.gif

I'm doing 20th Century Art Music and Sacred Vocal Music.

Just trying to learn all of it atm, but then the paper is only worth 20% so it's not as if I can get a D just fron this paper laugh.gif

I'm doing the same areas smile.gif
it's a bit annoying though because edexcel doesn't have any practise papers for music on its website

I've been given one by school and I've done it but now I can't mark it! grrrr
plus it's just me doing AS at my school so 2 hours of sitting on my own in a room awaits :|

It has practise papers for everything else rolleyes.gif Stupid edexcel. They don't release their listening papers either, my class has been practising with our teacher from a book that has listening tests but hmmm Edexcel suck.

I think the listening paper should be good though, in the last question when it asks for chords I always put in a cadential formula and it's always right!

Lucky you!! I can't deal with the listening at all.... Everything else is fine! I have typed up past essay questions for large ensemble and film, if you want them email me smile.gif

It's just me doing AS at my school aswell.
I'm doing AQA, but my exam is tomorrow as well.
It's not going to be nice sitting in a room alone with an invigilator, but I guess I should have thought of that before choosing the college!

Good luck everyone smile.gif

We have little separate desks in halls, but individual/small group exams are done in classrooms over in 6th form so we get twice as much space!
pianist5000
Yeah our exam is in a classroom because the only CD player that works is in there laugh.gif
