I'm finding it a little difficult, I think it's more working out the note values of demisemiquavers then rounding it up to a quaver then crochet.
Is there an easier way?

Full Version: Grade 5 Theory - Time Signatures/bar Lines
Does anyone have a system or a way of working out Time signatures and putting in bar lines on the grade 5 theory papers.
I'm finding it a little difficult, I think it's more working out the note values of demisemiquavers then rounding it up to a quaver then crochet.

The main thing is to work out the beat by looking at how notes are grouped. Look at lots of music to help you become more familiar with this.
