Anyone know when the new books will be available?

usually mid july - just in time for end of term.

According to Libretto, it's 3rd July.

This time it will be even more expensive for as well as buying the 8 books of pieces, we'll need to get the 8 S/R books too, to see what changes have been made there.

not to mention the scales

Although buying scale books is not so essential, surely? I very rarely let my students see a scale book, preferring to let them work scales out themselves during lessons and not just in connection with exams.

I'm the same - why buy a scale book when you have to memorise them in the end anyway? I can show a pupil what to do, if they can't work it out themselves and if they get stuck during the week, they can email for help or look on practicespot for quite a few of them.
