Hi,

I need to change my exam date because it is difficult time at work and I cannot easily find an accompanist

How do I do this? Is it easy?

Who do I need to call?

Thanks!

If you put the entry in yourself you just need to call your regional exam centre and ask for an alternative. If your teacher or some other third party put the entry in on your behalf then they most phone for you. When i have had to change appointments for pupils I have always found the board to be very accommodating. Good luck anyway smile.gif

Thanks - is all I need to call up to change the applicant number?

Problem is my teacher entered me and then a week later said I need to get a new teacher as she didn't know enough to keep teaching me.

I have her applicant number and she said it is fine for me to call up on her behalf.

I want to do it to ensure I get a date that is convenient for me as she does not know my working hours.

Will I need her postcode or any other details?

She has okayed me calling up on her behalf to sort it out but I want to make sure I have everything I need to do it first thing tomorrow morning.

Thanks

Things which may be helpful in addition to the applicant number are the applicant's name, your name, and the details of centre, date and time that you have already been allocated, as that appointment will have to be cancelled when a new one is made. If you have the direct-dial number from the exam notification to call that's fine, but if you are just calling the general number you will be asked which area you are in.

Good luck! I've also been very satisfied with the help I've had with changing appointments in recent years.
