has anyone ever tried Stagg violins? there's a cheap one in a shop nereby and i'm tempted to buy just to see if i'm really into violin. I was going to buy a gliga genial 1 but then i stopped cause i don't know where i stand. Do you know if these violins are at least playable and tunable? I know that they are chinese and cheap quality but maybe i can test myself with it.
One of my friends plays an electric one of theirs - it's ok. I don't know about the acoustic ones, but to be honest most commercial chinese instruments are at least tuneable and playable these days.
You've had such a tricky time getting a violin, maybe this is a sign? Buy it and try it, I say!
THanks, if anybody has ever tried one please write!! I know i had a tricky time, i'm still disappointed my relative cannot bring one over for me cause there it's half price and if i were to get it over myself by post, i'd have to add custom duty fees to the shipping costs and therefore, would get no 'discount' at all!!!! However, we'll see.
Thanks for your constant encouragement rosfrog!
