Hi everyone,

I am currently composing a song on the violin. In about a week I am likely to get to the point where I need to write the music. I have always been lousy at writing music.

Are there any programs out there that help with the writing of music and/or provide blank staves for writing msuic on?

I've used Finale notepad, a free download. This creates quite nice scores for any instrument or numbers of instruments. One can upgrade at a cost but I havn't found it necessary. The website is; www.finalemusic.com/notepad/ Good luck.

Finale would be ideal for your needs. And free too!!!

However, if you wnat to make an investment - Sibelius - but v expensive.
