Well I know it's not music but my latest exhibition opened on Sunday and the preview party was great which was a big relief. Now I need to decide on my next 'horizon' project but I'm doing Grade 4 violin in November

Grade 5 piano - In just under 6 months, almost from scratch. (I'm not boasting, seriously. Just trying to prove a point)
Grade 8 violin is certainly on the horizon too but hopefully no-one has noticed me saying this...

Swap violin for clarinet and 6 months for on and off 2 years, and my list remarkably similar... I've been putting both off !

I have a student get-together in a couple of weeks' time and then a chance to learn lots of new material over the summer. Several concert performances booked for the Christmas period already and a visit to the National Eisteddfod in August where I am hoping to win a composition prize this year. (See big pig flying by!)

Getting into Durham (or Birmingham).... I hate waiting for results when you can't do anything about them!

I like your new signature, Scurra! I had read that before somewhere, but a long time ago, so it was fun to see it again.
Hope you make it to Durham - which college?

Thanks St. Mary's.... Although at the moment Birmingham looks more likely never mind, I'm happy to go there

Going to see Tasmin Little on Friday, and further on (August) doing the Tango Music week at Dartington college. I'll also be doing a kind of student recital in July, and as well as playing the violin I'll be dancing (but not at the same time). It's my own fault, I volunteered to write a choreography for The Keel Row.
