You get used to seeing obituaries of some of the great jazz musicians, those who were big stars in the 50s are coming to the end of their natural lives. Esbjorn Svensson was only 44 - E.S.T (or the Esbjorn Svensson Trio) play very beautiful, atmospheric and characteristically Scandinavian jazz.

I'm very sorry to hear that - I interviewed him a few years back, and saw the band about the same time. Nice guy ... very sad.
