Hello, please if there are any singing teachers there tonight, please can you tell me if singers need to give a photocopy of their music to the examiner (AB)? Thankyou
AnnC

I thought you did have to!
My exam was yesterday and I did wonder why he seemed surprised and said 'oh are these my idiot sheets!' when i handed him original copies of all 3 songs, a translation of my traditional song as it was sang in welsh, and a sheet with my name, grade, all 3 piece names and the list and number of each piece. laugh.gif
Haha! Well it did save time - he didn't have to look through the syllabus to find it all which meant i could get started singing right away laugh.gif
It must have looked like i was sucking up to the examiner to get more marks! laugh.gif

As far as I am aware, for AB exams, you do not need copies of the music for the examiner except a transaltion of your trad. song if it isn't in English. It is different for LCM and TG I believe.

I've never used LCM, but I enquired at TG head office, and was told that it was recommended but not compulsory. We've never bothered.
