Just wondering if anyone can help clear a couple of things up. I just did my grade 8 music theory a few days ago and I'm just wondering how long it normally takes for results to come out? Last theory exam I did was grade 5 and I can't remember at all how long it took to get my results. My music teacher told me a few weeks longer than practical exam results take to come out, but in terms of practical exam results they could take anywhere between 2 and 5 weeks to come out. Anyone here have any experience of having done grade 7 or 8 theory?

results take around six weeks. How did you find the exam?

Wasn't anywhere near as monstrous as I thought it would be, and I'm just really happy that there weren't any german terms to translate tongue.gif t'was something like "con anima" and "maestoso" but for some reason I put "lively" for maestoso rather than "masterly"

Good luck . My son did this exam and found it rather tough

Hi, I did the Grade 8 theory too, and I found it tough. I put majestically for maestoso - just checked it and I was right. In past papers I often found questions 1 and 2 to be quite easy, but the exam questions 1 and 2 I really struggled at - don't think I'm going to do as well as I did at Grade 6 and 7. I'm going to forget about it all for 5 or 6 weeks now.
