Just wondering if anyone uses pedal in this piece. I never thought I would because of it's style...but sometimes just end up using it???
Does anyone think the examiner will be expecting the use of pedal in this piece?

There's always something going on as I say, in this piece and using the pedal sometimes distorts the sound! I have my exam tomorrow so will try to secure my feet to the ground during this piece to avoid temptation. I also find it very hard to be expressive in this piece, not sure why though.

To put it bluntly, Giga is a bad piece compositionally speaking.
Just try your best: keep the tempo steady, keep it rhythmic, keep the articulation clear and crisp, show the phrases and cadences.
