Full Version: Playing The Flute (maybe?)

I bought a flute around 2 years ago. It is a Yamaha. I tried off and on to play it and learned a little bit, but just didn't feel that I was doing too well with it, so decided to see about selling it. The flute is currently in a music store where the store owner is trying to sell it for me. I have been thinking a little bit about getting the flute back and maybe trying to work with it some again. I am currently working with an alto saxophone and a clarinet. I am wondering if the flute would be too confusing to work with along with the sax and clarinet. I feel like I am coming along pretty good with the saxophone and clarinet. Would playing the sax and clarinet be of any help to me in learning to play the flute? If trying to play the flute would be too different and confusing, I will just let it stay in the store until it gets sold. I will appreciate any opinions anyone would have about this.
