there are 8 grades, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8 surprisingly. grade 1 being the easiest and 8 being the hardest. once you pass grade 5 Associated board, you then have to pass grade 5 theory to do the grade 6 exam. i am working towards grade 7.
