I thought there was no VAT on any food, but only on alcoholic drinks (shows how much I know!).

If it makes the Pringles cheaper I definitely agree with it - they are great for dips, but usually quite expensive.

Well I would call them biscuits, but I suppose if they're called Jaffa CAKES they must be cakes Who knows!

But technically, if you apply the "general rule of thumb" for cakes and biscuits, Pringles should be biscuits as they go soggy with age, rather than harden like stale cakes...
