Do you agree with the Judge's ruling?

I thought there was no VAT on any food, but only on alcoholic drinks (shows how much I know!).

If it makes the Pringles cheaper I definitely agree with it - they are great for dips, but usually quite expensive. biggrin.gif

Cakes because cakes go hard when stale and biscuits go soft..

Well I would call them biscuits, but I suppose if they're called Jaffa CAKES they must be cakes wacko.gif Who knows! tongue.gif

My feeling about this is that I'm not bothered about them not being potato crisps, more the fact they will probably now be cheaper.

But technically, if you apply the "general rule of thumb" for cakes and biscuits, Pringles should be biscuits as they go soggy with age, rather than harden like stale cakes...
