Because I missed the bus after finishing violin lesson last night, so had the choice of either waiting half an hour for the next one or walking two miles to get a different bus (I chose the latter: I can either get one bus outside my teacher's house which takes me about a mile and a half from my flat or one two miles from my teacher's house which takes me to outside my flat; or walk 7 miles, which I'm tempted to try some day). So I got home really late because my lesson was later than usual last night anyway. So I've been exhausted all day!



Because this was the most synonymous to a twiddling my thumbs smilie.

Poor Cyrilla.

I still can't get to the music, but fingers crossed, I don't think I need it anymore. I've got everything I'm going to write planned out now and 6 marks worth out of 20 written...just another 14 to go! word-count currently at about 400.

Gah! Absentee husband (am currently wading through a second week of OH away on business trip), Sonny Jim just done DoE practice expedition over the weekend (and all the washing and so on that it involves), plus selling little men (warhammer) on ebay - (am molly-coddling a bit over this because he's got school exams next week ), plus taking aged mother (nearly 90) to hospital tomorrow for results of tests, plus daughter being a bit with uni application.

Then my new singing teacher rings up - I was supposed to ring to arrange a lesson this week but it looks a bit desperate from where I'm sitting. Might be able to squeeze in 3/4 hour Thurs afternoon between giving lessons at school and then lessons at home. After which I shall collapse in a heap on Friday which should be the day for clearing up the house... ...if I have any energy left. All in time for OH to bring home 2 weeks-worth of washing.
