My mood is always the same nowadays. I guess I need to cheer up, but everytime I'm about to, someone says or does something to make me miserable again!

Yes thank you..I was just "walking" my old fridge down my front path so that the Council can collect it tomorrow. A neighbour saw me and said he would help but he's got a "bad back". I said "so have I" He said "I have a pulled muscle." I said "I have a fractured vertebra" "Oh" he said...And still went inside his house... dry.gif

blink.gif Umm. I'd have done the same actually (although if I knew someone who could help I'd have probably you in their direction) - I've had an number of back injuries from nursing and do need to be very careful because one of the injuries gets aggravated quite easily.

Think I'd better hides.gif now. sad.gif

Yes, I can see why he didn't want to help, and I wouldn't have expected him to once I knew he'd got an injury. I was just a bit miffed I guess. And actually, my back injury was caused by a patient...

Hmm. My problems with my R wrist are from the patient who tried to break it. He had to stop pretending he had a R hemi after though. laugh.gif

Not really sad.gif some bad news about my leg today and might have to have an op now which means can't drive still and very frustrating. (I was hoping to be able to go back to the gym and swimming lightly within the next month and now that's looking unlikely, plus not being able to get anywhere without the help of anyone else is such a pain!) (it's a twenty minute walkto the bus and there's only 1 an hour so that's even more difficult)

Then got hospital appointment through today for next Tuesday with a neurophysiologist, and it's in Oxford, which means not only a whole day up there to get there and back and see them and plan my treatment, but also that it'll make me worry about results, and mum's desperate to go and look around my potential college and I really want to, but I know I'll be worrying and I'm trying so hard not to think about it!

And to top it all off, after my first nights sleep in three days, I woke up this morning with a horrendous sore throat, aching all over, and a headache sad.gif

Just feeling like I'm falling apart and because I can't get out and do much I haven't seen many friends or done anything so I'm just lonely and low sad.gif

Sorry, that was a bit of a rant sad.gif

Sounds like lots is happening all at once. sad.gif
Hope your leg gets sorted out, if they reckon you need an op, then hopefully that will (after the op) speed recovery. Also I hope next Tuesday goes OK. You are bound to be worrying- that is fine. Just try and not think about it too much before you need to. The feeling of falling apart is horrible, I have felt that in the past when seemingly everything goes wrong with your body.
Silly suggestion, but could you get to a coffee shop or something (maybe a park, if you enjoy being outside/weather is good), and get friends to come to you there? Would get you out of the house for something other than appointments, which is always a good thing.

Yes, hopefully I will be able to see some of my friends soon, lots of them drive, but I'm a bit out of the way, which means I usually always drive and so everyone else is used to me picking them up and not the other way round sad.gif And definitely, the feeling of being stuck indoors isn't helping! Maybe I'll see if some of them fancy sitting down on the common by the beach or something if we get a nice day and I'm up to it.
Sorry to moan, just one of those days I think!
