If people can let me know before the day if they are intending to eat that would be really helpful. I can change it on the day as I am intending to nip over and grab some menues also to make sure that there is actually food available. I've gone for this place as it's in easy walking distance. It's also right at the end of the motorway and may end up being used as an overspill car park.

Another violin and 'cello takes the total up to 27. This is now the largest forum playday we've had, and it wouldn't have happened without the assistance of notmusimum, sbhoa and friends - thank you all!

I've asked everyone to bring one, and most people will be sharing 2 to a music pad, so even if you forget, there should be enough stands to go round.

I'm so sorry I can't now join you all, our band has its 25th anniversary concert on Saturday so I'm playing in that. It'll be the first time I've played in a concert since I was at school so I'm just a little bit nervous

Spoken to the pub for the meal. they are developing a special menu and we can use the restaurant room.

I'll have the Menu available on arrival and owuld appreciate it if those dining could coose what they wanted so I can let the pub know mid morning. They are struggling for a chef so are doing this as a special. It's nice that they want to get it right.

I am really looking forward to coming on Saturday.
I am a bit hampered at the moment having broken a bone in my foot and I'm not as mobile as I normally am- using crutches to get around. And I'm not allowed to drive the car.
Does the day end with a performance that spouses can come to? Mine will be chauffering me and would like to come and see what I've been up to all day while he's been seeing to his in laws!

There's no official performance but I'm sure he will be welcome to come and listen to the final piece. Don't worry about the crutches as there are lifts fitted and the building does have full access.

Is there anywhere to park near the event?

The venue has a small car park of it's own. We should fill that up first. The Car park is at the rear of the building. You will need to turn right off Wellington Road, there's a big grassy space called the Polygon, and it's a sharp right down to the car park. Might be better to use the pub if you are being dropped off as the entrance is narrow.

If anyone is stuck for parking as you come off the end of the M602 you will go left. On the right you will see a pub, this is where we are going to eat, shouldn't be a problem to park there The car park of the pub is almost opposite the venue, back a bit towards the motorway. The entrance is on Wellington Road it's at teh top on the cornor.

After you come off the motorway slip road, there's a sign painted on the road for P'ton (Pendleton) turn left, the venue is on the left almost straight away. You will need to turn left. if you get to the traffic lights you have gone too far (if you do this go left at the lights, first left and left again at the T junction to bring you back to the right road).

The venue does have it's name on the building.

Well, I'm back home. It was a great day. Thanks to all concerned
