Hi everyone

Got home a while ago (after wondering whether we would ever be able to get off the tram crammed with Man Utd fans ) and am so sleepy

I had a great day - I've had a generally rubbish week so this really cheered me up I apologise for only playing about a third of my notes

Thanks to everyone for a really great day, especially notmusimum for organising everything, rachi for conducting and barry for music/conducting/pretty coloured folders and general awesomeness Oh, and well done to emsoboe for forcing selling raffle tickets to people

I apologise again for being late, blame these idiots

What a great day. I have been learning and playing clarinet for four years now and today was one of those days that has really made me feel that I am moving forward. Thanks to all for the encouragement and fun. I have sent some shots up to Barry to load up to the server. Looking forward to the next event. Rob AKA Tooty

Well, I got home safely (thanks to the footie fans, I got to travel first class home on the train - always nice!)

I wanted to say thanks to all the folk that made it an excellent day. Notmusimum, barry-clari and rachi's contributions were all essential into making a great day. It was good to put some faces to new forum names and nice to catch up with familiar friends.

A huge thank you from me to everyone involved with arranging the Playday. It was great fun and I enjoyed meeting everyone. Sorry I couldn't make it to the pub for the meal ( David Cassidy was good fun too ).
Hopefully someone will give me a nudge when there is another playday.

Thanks to everyone involved, the musicians (fabulous to see so much local involvement ) notmusimum for sourcing the venue and doing sterling work in the kitchen, and to my partner in crime in the music direction field, rachi!

I really want to keep the momentum going here, as this initial playday was so successful, so I will be talking to people to get another playday, and maybe a gig or two, set up from early 2009. The next date will go up very soon.

Long live the Eccles and District Scratch Orchestra!
