Hello forum wave.gif

Can I ask for PMs from people who may be interested in a 45 minute slot in the 2009 recital series now? The venue is to be confirmed.

If you answer to the name of sags_3, Amber, katyjay, andante_in_c, carol*piano, meerkat, nicki_flute, Aotearoa, jonscott14, bohemian or barry-clari (talking to myself laugh.gif), you are already provisionally on the list, so don't worry about PM-ing.

Next year, there will be just seven slots (Jan-April, Sep-Nov). Act now!

Thanks!

b-c

(kj/andante/carol, have allocated two slots for Belle Epoque (one whole recital), and one each for kj and andante, solo). smile.gif

12 gone. 2 to go...

Quick enquiry (mainly directed at the musicians).

I'm in negotiations with a venue for next year. It may well be easier for the venue to accommodate us on a Sunday rather than a Saturday (still about 7pm-ish start). Would this be OK with people? smile.gif

Personally, no - because I would be unable to get back home in time for work on Monday morning.
I imagine anyone else travelling any distance would have the same problem.

Actually I would be able to get home on a Sunday - which is something I can't do on a Saturday...

Not impossible, but considerably more difficult.

Not impossible, but considerably more difficult.

I would imagine it would also be a problem for potential forum visiting audience - due to the reasons I gave...

Thanks for the replies. I have reasons why I asked (have a phone call to make next week). All may become clear(ish) soon...

I have been unable to find a venue at a reasonable cost or at reasonable convenience to do a whole series this year, sadly sad.gif

However, there will be two or three one off recitals in South East England this year, like the one with the Carousel Clarinet Quartet in Reigate in January, more details will follow...
