question: wats the passing grade for grade 5 theory exam

what do you mean passing grade?
The pass mark is 66 if thats what you're asking

out of 100;
66 for a pass
80 for a merit
90 for a distinction

The pass grade is the same for all theory grades (i.e. 66)

Just done Grade 7 Piano (22nd Sept.) (done well except aurals!)

66 for a pass

but dont aim for tht mark

aim higher

If you only get 66 there is a lot of stuff you don't know.

what about 60? thats what i got in the paper B this year.. taking it again.. two weeks left arrgh!!

Were you getting reasonable pass mark on past papers before you did the exam last time BabyBanana?

Personally I would not enter someone who was getting less than about 80 on past papers.
