however I AM NOT takin up guitar or sax cos ma bro already plays them

They're both regarded as "endangered species" because so few people are taking them up. If you get good you can have the pick of orchestras usually because the competition is slight.

Only drawback - they're both very expensive to buy but loads of firms do rentals etc. to see how you get on.
