Hmm, i may not be able to come, as i think that week is usually when we go away in the summer.

It's coming quite close now! I'm really looking forward to it because the handbell group I was in has folded for the moment. The lady who owns the bells is in her 80s and isn't too well at the moment; because they're her bells, we can't carry on without her.
I really miss the handbells. I expect I'll be so out of practice by the end of August I'll be no use to anyone, but I shall inflict myself on you anyway! (Unless too many others leap in before I get a chance

I know my guild (church bell ringers) let people borrow sets of 25 for up to 3 months

If you're out of practice, I'm extremely out of practice, so I wouldn't worry about it
(we've only had them out about 4 times in the last year, all crammed in in the run up to christmas )Does anyone a charity particularly close to their hearts for the profits to go to? I'm having trouble picking from all the thousands out there.

As to charities, are there any musical ones we could donate to? If not, maybe something for deaf people; I always feel they miss so much that we lucky ones enjoy - not least music!
