I'm thinking of going to a college of music and drama and want to take a drama course. But do I have to be good at singing to do drama? I can sing but i'm not that confident with it. please help! unsure.gif

I agree with David. I take a lot of enquiries at this time of year from people needing to sing at their auditions early next year. Some say that they would need to sing if they got as far as a recall.
It sounds as if you haven't applied yet, so wouldn't have the audition until the end of next year or early 2010. Try contacting your preferred drama schools and ask if singing is part of the audition. If it is, and you can afford it, I recommend having some lessons NOW. I know you say you can sing, but the competition is tough, and we (singing teachers) cannot perform miracles. I cringe sometimes at the work needed to get someone's singing and the delivery of the songs up to a decent standard in a short space of time.
