My father in law was a dance band drummer through the fifties to the seventies. By the mid eighties it had gradually dropped to a duo. He had a good fairly comprehensive Premier set, and we hoped they might be used by our offspring, but apart from nine months in touring with one son in the mid nineties, it has remained packed away. I would like to ask you knowledgeable people whether there is any value in such an old drum kit, or is anyone, individual or organisation, likely to be interested?
What do you do with old drums?!
thanks,

I have no idea of how much this might be worth but a hunt of ebay might show similar kits and would perhaps give some idea. There may well be a school of youth group in your area that could make good use of it though, or perhaps a student with limited means. It might be worth asking a local percussion teacher.

Thanks for that Petrat. I had thought of youth groups, but so many share facilities that a large kit might not be practical.
Percussion teachers are the obvious channel, amd I may try thr music service too.
