blink.gif I just got a new piano teacher. She is VERY VERY diffrent from what I am used to. I am having a hard time with changing the way I learn. Any suggestions???

I think a piano teacher can influent a student so much,I had full of heart to take the Diploma for this year,but she let me felt very down,don't understand why?I already half never play piano.of cos I din learn from her anymore.

Me again, Thanks for leaving a message agnescyy. Things are going better with my teacher. I am learning alot and having some fun too. I think it was just me not being open to having a diffrent piano teacher. I am cool with it now. I think when you have to change something, like you piano teacher, It can be really hard. Yo uhave to be open to change...And me, I was not open to that kind of change. So, if anyone is having the same problem I was...just give it time..try your hardsest...and whatever you do DON'T GIVE UP!!! At least not to soon. Thanks again. Beff biggrin.gif

I have been told that I am a very different type of teacher. My belief is that music should be fun, my teaching methods don't suit everyone and I understand this, but at the same time I am never short of pupils and have excellent exam success with those pupls I do teach.
