I worked out that all the coursework I have to do in the next 2 weeks counts as 3% of my entire degree. Cue me seriously wondering whether it was worth all the sleepless nights or not. I'll still do the sleepless nights though. *sigh*
Science coursework is important, as is maths. Even at GCSE level. Think of those projects as an easy peasy (

) introduction to writing dissertations, and later papers for journals, or reports for work. Exams cannot give the skills needed for these sorts of things. Hopefully that comment will give everyone a little motivation to get on with it, rather than result in me getting lynched!
