Hi all, just looking for some names of piano songs and their composers that you people like..all kinds of genre..

Kindly post them here. I would very much like to find them in the music library.

Thanks a million!

By the way, anybody knows who is the composer to the piece called "magic waltz"? It is a piece that 1900 played for his seasick friend,in the movie 'Legend of 1900'. I think I have mentioned it before. Thanks.

I wasn't looking carefully enough! I found the soundtrack CD with all the music on it by him but, looking again, for some reason it that piece wasn't on there. So maybe it was written by someone else. I'm sure that post above mine saying who it was wasn't there when I posted it (otherwise I wouldn't have bothered to look!) how did you do that? Just edit one that you'd already put there saying something else or am I going blind?!

That was there before your post. Perhaps there are bugs on this forum.
I didn't do anything on the post before, I saw the question and then found the answer and posted.
After seeing your post, I tried to find in google again to confirm who is the composer.

I really like the music from the film "The Piano".

Also Chopin Preludes are gorgeous.

And Bach. Anything by Bach...

Can't find Farewell to Stromness - but came across this piece by Peter Maxwell Davies - Strathclyde concerto : no. 4 for clarinet and orchestra

Maybe you would like to check it out? biggrin.gif
