Will second andante's suggestion : we did this at our forum recital at the start of this year - I thought it sounded good biggrin.gif

Have had a look down andante's list. 'Two Cats' by Dorff looks fascinating! biggrin.gif

There are some Latin-American style, Caribbean style and Spanish style duets by (Gordon?) Lewin. I've enjoyed playing the first two, don't know the Spanish ones. Try the June Emerson catalogue (there are four separate volumes of the paper catalogue, and flute & clarinet duets are in the Music for Wind Ensembles volume). She sells on line. www.JuneEmerson.co.uk (search on Lewin in the Mixed Duets section of the catalogue). Unfortunately the Caribbean ones are currently listed as out of print, but the others are still available and you can sometimes get authorised reprints from the publishers.

There are more than three hundred items listed in the Mixed Duets section (probably quite a lot for flute and clarinet), all approximately graded A-E for difficulty. The grading is rougher than I thought, as both Voxman books are listed as B/C! blink.gif The Lewin pieces are all D. Note from a 2002/3 copy of the printed catalogue: "Pieces are graded from A = very easy to E = very difficult. E+ indicates that there is some non-musical notation or other kinky signage in the piece." Have a browse...

Good hunting!
