Has anybody ever heard of this song that's sung from Mrs. Claus's point of view and it's like this funny lament about how she's been stuck as Santa's wife for so long while he's always out delivering presents or something? Sorry it's a bit of a dodgy description, but I heard someone sing this song ages ago, but it had a foreign name that made it sound as if it was a really serious classical-type piece. Just wondering if anybody knew the song I'm on about? xx

I wonder if it originated as a spoof on the song 'Surabaya Johnnie' ?

ed - a google search spells him 'Johnny' - you could find the song (1929 - Berthold Brecht, I think) and see if there is any similarity, Charlottie, if you are interested.
