I've just bought a new case for my violin, which i absolutely love, but stupidly i can't fit my spare strings properly in the compartment blink.gif (They're in the envelope things they come in).
I've seen string tubes being sold seperately to cases on the internet but how would i put one into my case? :S Or does anyone have any other ideas how to fit the strings in properly? (something smaller to put them in etc... obviously the strings aren't too big, just the things the strings are in!)

Hey ffliwt !

The case would need a holder for the tube before you could add one in, so that's probably not possible.

In my shaped case (which I use if I have to go long distances and don't want a heavy thing on my back) I put the string envelopes under the neck of the fiddle. They fit there just fine.

Thanks, i'll see if they fit there. If not i can fit them in the sheet music cover on the outside of the case... but just cause i'm fussy, i'd rather them be in the case!
