Hey

I am going on a course soon and am in need of a set of spare strings i have spare A which is is a jargar, but what do others find nice for the C, G, and D strings.

Thanks in advance!

I got dominants for all 4 strings and am very pleased. I think it's a mellower sound than the jarger.
AmandaL
Larson (soft) A and D, Dominant G and C

I used to use Jarger soft on the A and D, but still found them a bit bland. Larson are more expensive, but worth it for the tone quality and colour of the sound.
Charlie Cello
Larson solo A and D and Spirocore Silver for G and C. I'm thinking of changing the Spirocore G though cos it's a little harsh. Will probably put a Larson on. The Spirocore C projection is fantastic.
STRINGMUM
Charlie Cello you have alsmost the same strings as my son. He's found that a permenant G works well with the spirocore C on his cello along with the Larson solo A & D.
