I was beginning work on Bourree with a pupil of mine earlier and she asked me what the dashed curved lines over the music in bars 3 and 20 meant, and I couldn't work it out! They look like slur markings (but dashed) but that's all I could think of and there are slurs underneath already anyway. Am I missing something really obvious? It's been a long day of teaching!
