I was wondering if anyone knew of any sax and flute duets that are grade 8 plus.

No, fraid not, but for this sort of question, always check out the June Emerson Wind Music catalogue (available online...).

Alternatively (depending on the saxophone) you could look at flute/clarinet, or even transpose trio sonatas...

There are some alto sax and flute duets published by Trübcher publishing that are advertised as being for Grade 6 and above but are really more suitable for Grade 8 plus as they need to go quite fast

ryt from experience the sax just might drown out the flute as the sax has far more power and is far more better biggrin.gif

I've played the Trübcher duets and the balance is OK .
