As ever, the answer is, your friend needs to read the syllabus carefully. An LTCL programme needs to be balanced and varied, and there are strict time limits. Although candidates can choose their own pieces, such a recital would need to be submitted to Trinity for approval, and the process takes up to about six weeks - entering before approval has been obtained is not wise

. The syllabus is very clear but detailed - and the other thing to flag up is that it is changing too, so your friend will need to watch for the dates on the one she is reading.
