I can remember being asked what I would do if a student was struggling to produce the high notes (e.g of clarion register).

Also when asked if there was anything I wanted to add, I remember saying that it was very important to treat each student as an individual, and to adapt your teaching style and methods to suit.

Also, make sure you're up to date with issues around child protection; i.e no physical contact, try and teach in a room with a window, or open access for others....etc?

Best of luck!

A friend of mine was criticised in his for failing to mention that in a 1st lesson he'd show the student the correct way to put a clarinet together and to put it away/clean it. Obvious really but nerves got the better of him.

Thanks for the tips smile.gif
I'm sat surrounded by piles of music, trying to work out answers for possible questions, and look for examples pieces that I would suggest to support my ideas!
