Been meaning to ask this for ages but my old violins bridge was set (by a set up I had done when I got it) to lean slightly towards the tail piece, if you know what I mean??? Is this correct?

The back of the bridge should be perpendicular to the surface of the top. Because the front of the bridge is angled and arched (or should be) this can give an optical illusion that the bridge is leaning back when it isn't.
