Does anyone know if the sheet music of Barcelona (as recorded by Queen and Monserrat Caballe) is available to buy? I cannot find it anywhere. I'm having a student concert next year with a theme of "Around the world" and have two students who would really like to sing this.
Thanks for any replies.

Was rather hoping you meant the great song by Sondheim
'Where you going?'
'Barcelona'
'Oh'

I think I've got a copy somewhere that I don't use, Ann, if that's any use.
Not sure if it's the edition you're thinking of, but I'll check it out and let you know. If it's any use to you, you can have it.

Thank you Allan - I'll be glad to pay you for it.

I've just checked, it's a solo version in D major that I've got - it has both parts, but condensed into one line - will it be any good?

Ahem, not by Queen! (Just being pedantic

)
I have a version for both voices and piano accomp. I'll see if I can dig it out and find the publisher. I think it was an italian version. It's in the original key. Ab or Bb I think :s

Thank you - does that mean the words are in Italian?

No it was an italian publisher. I can't remember how it came in to my possession to be honest. I shall be able to look tomorrow and I'll let you know.

Sounds good Allan. Not sure about the key as it's not the original - can you tell me the range for each part? Thanks in advance.

It's in here in the original key:-
http://www.musicroom.com/se/ID_No/025950/details.htmlIt also contains the backing CD which is handy

Thanks Possum - I've been searching for this for ages. I don't find Musicroom that easy to navigate if you can't find something immediately and they don't reply to my queries.
Thanks also to everyone else who have been so helpful. I'll buy this book because I can use the other duets as well.

Ah I'm glad you've found a solution; I just logged on to say sorry that I couldn't find my copy

Tha backing track sounds pretty good. However if you want the orginal without vocals, click
