I have a SHURE SM57 Microphone and the cable that comes with it. The cable has a wierd end with like 3 prongs, I don't know whether its usual or not.
Is there a cheapish thing between 50 and £100 that I can plug the mic into and it can be converted/saved as an mp3. I don't want it to be connected to a computer.
The problem is I had cubase and had to take the laptop downstairs and then I'd lose the dongle key and it was all very frustrating and time consuming.
I just want a basic thing that I can stick the microphone cable into and record.
Bare in mind that it is a piano so there will I'll also be using a stand.
I don't need amazing quality, just enough for a CD to grandma
She's been asking for one for like 10 years
