I am playing pachabells cannon from an "easy" piano book, and there is a 13th in there?? How on earth do I play that, a friend told me to "roll it". How would I do that?

Maybe you can play the lower note in the left hand? Is there a bracket or a line to indicate this?
Roll, in my book, means spread (generally with chords) but if it was just two notes then I would emphasize the note that does carry the tune whilst playing the other as a grace note.

"Roll it" means play it rather like a fast arpeggio, normally starting at the bottom of the chord and rolling up so that you don't play all the notes quite at the same time. Lots of people with smaller hands use this technique for large stretches.
