Do you fail the Grade 7 aurals? The examiner picked hard aural questions for me to answer. I was expecting 15/18 before the exam until after the exam!

Don't forget aural was the worst part of my exam, then next worst is sight reading. I also kind of mucked up sight reading in the exam although I knew I would still pass sight reading. The examiner was quite generous because I made a lot of mistakes and I think it had 4 flats in the key signature.

I've never been really good at sight reading ... sometimes, believe it or not I consider myself bad at sight reading!

Surely if you need advice on sight reading and aural, there are other guides that tell you how to improve on those areas, or ask somebody who got higher marks than me for sight reading and aural (there will be some!! )

I would find 4 flats much easier than 4 sharps
