Just talking to 'my wonderful ' teacher (always has to prefixed with 'my wonderful')- cos he's fab! and we were discussing that there wasn't much in the South West...there are 2 flute choirs - Minehead and Bath.

I am local to Taunton too, and would love to know how you are getting on with finding a group? I know of a recorder group locally, but not a flute choir, apart from any within schools. Can you contact me through the forum, as I'm new to it and don't really understand how it works! Thanks!

I'm very keen to join a group now, as I feel happier I won't feel completely out of my depth! I looked at the Bath group, but it's for Grade 7 + and the Chippenham one isn't running any more. Have you made any progress Flute diva on starting a group?

I'm a little far away (Gloucestershire) but please let me know if you manage to get set up in case I could find a lift with someone similarly mad enough to try and make it down.
