Just popped through the letter box Jazz Clarinet ABRSM level/grade 1

I am determined to get a couple of jazz tunes under my belt soon. We did the opening bars of "After supper" at my lesson last week, using my teachers copy. It is nice to have the CD as I haven’t a clue what some of them are supposed to sound like. I am not good enough at reading music yet. But boy am I fired up, Listening to the CD really gives me inspiration.

Good for you David. Clarinet can do so much!!! I love the jazz/blues stuff, the swung rhythms etc. Great stuff!! there's some great classical stuff out there too though.

The Jazz Clarinet meterials are very good. I'm sure you'll enjoy them

That has made me feel a lot better; it’s a shame that you can’t buy embouchures in boxes. Now there is a money making idea.
